Sensorless Control for DC–DC Boost Converter via Generalized Parameter Estimation-Based Observer

The full-information state feedback controller is usually used for regulating the output voltage of converters. Sufficient sensors should be adopted to measure all states. However, extensive use current not only increases cost overall system, but also affects reliability. In this paper, sensorless control problem DC–DC boost converters addressed avoid need sensor. First, a PI passivity-based (PI-PBC) proposed stabilize converter. main feature design that exponential convergence system guaranteed. Afterward, generalized parameter estimation-based observer (GPEBO) presented estimate inductor with finite-time (FTC). By adding in above PI-PBC, developed. Thanks FTC, an closed-loop ensured. Finally, simulation and experimental results are given assess performance controller.
